Coronavirus Update: ENDING Date Change

HMRC updated the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme today.

The major change is that the ENDING date for the Furlough Scheme is extended from 31 May to 30 June

This means employers who were considering beginning collective redundancy consultation (to comply with the 45-day requirement) have a little more breathing room. The announcement is here.
